Minimum Qualifications:

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications, public relations, or marketing and two years of related professional work experience. Additional work experience as described may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.   

 

Job Summary:

This position will be actively involved in identifying, researching, and creating programs in conjunction with BND leadership and strategic partners to deliver information and provide assistance on all Education Market-related topics with an emphasis on financial literacy. The qualified candidate will build, maintain, and nurture relationships with new and existing partners and stakeholders including middle and high schools, colleges, financial institutions, various organizations, and employers to build awareness and deliver BND education related programs.

This position will create and deliver information, curriculum, and resources through in-person, virtual and pre-recorded presentations, television and/or radio interviews, videos, social media, telephone calls and one-on-one meetings with customers and partners. The ideal candidate needs to be motivated and proactive and can work well individually and in a team environment. Networking ability, communication skills, and attention to detail are critical to this position.

They will maintain records of past presentations and marketing materials regarding BND education related programs. They will also represent BND at meetings, conferences, and events and may be required to serve on applicable boards.

This position will typically work a flexible 40-hour work week. Travel, extensive at times, will be required based on events and outreach opportunities throughout the year and may include evenings and weekends.
